Welcome to Children's Ministry at IHBC! We call it G-Force!
G-Force provides opportunities for children to explore God, launch into a relationship with Him and accelerate into a dynamic lifetime journey with Him. G-Force is broken down into age groups called Explore, Launch and Accelerate and offers a variety of programs for children, birth through sixth grade.
Explore – Our ministry to children ages birth-kindergarten.
Launch – Our ministry to children grades 1 – 4th grade.
Accelerate – Our 5th & 6th grade ministry addresses the unique needs of children transitioning into youth ministry. They meet on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights and for special social activities and overnight trips.
Sunday School is offered to the children from 9:45 - 10:45 am.
We use Gospel Light curriculum which contains a balance of Old and New Testament studies. Gospel Light curriculum is built around helping children of all ages develop a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, and learn about God’s Word and how to share God’s love with others.
Age-appropriate Bible learning activities are designed to draw the students in as they participate. The more the child is involved, the more likely they will retain what they have learned. And the more they retain the more opportunity for the Holy Spirit to effectively change his or her life.

Godly Play (Worship for Kids!) Godly Play
Grades K-2nd at the 11:00 service in Room 304 (We will transition children from Sunday School)
We desire to help prepare children to develop their own spirituality and know God and to help them learn what worship is all about in an age-appropriate environment. It is not simply a play time or another hour of Sunday School. It is purposeful, intentional and truly worshipful! Children will be dismissed from the regular 11:00 worship service after prayer time and taken to their Young Disciples worship service in Room 304 in the Children’s Wing.
Childcare (for infants through 4 yr olds)
During both worship services, secure and loving childcare is available for infants through 4 year olds in our Children’s Wing.

We offer a mid-week program from September through May with learning and fellowship opportunities for children birth through 6th grade. Dinner at 5:30, classes 6:15-7:30 pm.
Special Seasonal Activities
A full schedule of activities is strategically planned to enrich the children’s fellowship with one another and to provide opportunities for spiritual growth and encouragement. Programs include VBS, Trunk for Treats, Christmas gift-making workshops, summer camps and serving opportunities with their family.
