Why Evil? Part 4
No one likes to admit it, but sometimes it takes bad times to really appreciate good times. And while we like to think we are able to learn life lessons when it is easy. The truth is most of us are better because of the struggles we’ve been through.
Romans 5:3-4 tells us there are benefits to tribulation - And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
God doesn’t create evil. Evil and suffering are the result of sin. But God has not abandoned us in the this world of evil. Sometimes He protects us and sometimes He uses the bad for our good. However, when we can’t see God’s hand we can trust His heart and find hope in a promise He made in Revelation 21:4.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.
Don’t lose heart. It is not over yet!
